Work Experience

Applied Economics Research

This research project explored whether social-media-driven aesthetic pressure influences discretionary spending and savings behavior among Gen Z women in the United States during inflationary years.

Using a synthetic dataset of 6,000 observations and multivariate regression analysis, I found that higher aesthetic pressure is associated with higher discretionary spending and lower savings, even after controlling for income, financial literacy, and social media use.

The project also examined social comparison as part of the broader consumer behavior mechanism, connecting economic theory to real-world spending decisions.

⦁ Graphic Design

Graphic Design

⦁ Graphic Design ⦁ Graphic Design

As part of my internal communications work at Spelman College, I created branded newsletter graphics and visual content to support weekly announcements and campus messaging. These designs were meant to make internal communication more engaging, clear, and visually consistent while supporting the school’s broader editorial strategy. These graphics are examples of how I combine design, storytelling, and audience awareness to strengthen digital communication.

Competitor Analysis Project

At Regal Medical Group, I conducted competitor analysis across 13 key brands to identify positioning patterns, content opportunities, and growth gaps.

I have highlighted UCLA Health and Optum as examples of the broader analysis, showing how I evaluated brand messaging, content strategy, audience engagement, and market positioning.

This project reflects my ability to evaluate a market landscape, synthesize insights, and translate findings into strategic recommendations.
